Romania Launches National NFT Marketplace

The NFT platform is being launched by the Romanian National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics (ICI Bucharest). The team believes that the initiative will help the introduction of Web3 in the country.

The ICI D|Services platform was developed in partnership with MultiversX. Along with the launch, five NFT collections will be presented - they will be released in collaboration with athletes, the library, and other organizations.

According to experts from the institute, the main goal of the NFT platform is to connect the younger generation with the values of government institutions. They also believe that this platform will create new sources of income and increase the economic potential of the country.
